Youth Protection
The protection of children and young people is a high priority at StayToEnjoy.
Principle 1 & model of age
StayToEnjoy is currently generally intended for users aged 16 and up. Certain functions in particular those with legal, financial or commercial relevance are exclusively reserved for adult users (18+).
Future-friendly structure
StayToEnjoy may further develop the age and access model in the future, in particular to make certain age-appropriate features available to younger users, with the platform rules, GTCs, security requirements and youth protection measures applicable at the time of use.
Age and access to work
Current model
- Under 16 years of age: there is currently no provision for regular use.
- 16 to 17 years of age: limited use of selected platform functions is possible, if permitted.
- From 18 years of age: access to the mandatory full-time functions according to platform logic and verification.
Planned expandable model
For later product versions, StayToEnjoy may introduce a step-by-step model, such as:
- 13 to 15 years: age-appropriate social and community functions with increased protection standards
- 16 to 17 years: extended use of selected functions but without commercial core functions
- From 18 years of age onwards: full use including commerce, seller functions, live shopping, bookings and pay-as-you-go functions

3. Verification of age
StayToEnjoy uses different verification mechanisms to control access to age-restricted or particularly sensitive areas, depending on the function.
Possible verification measures
- Confirmation of age at registration
- Technical age verification for certain functions
- Additional tests or evidence in age-critical areas
- Identity verification for sensitive or commercial functions
- Restriction or refusal of access in the absence or inadequacy of verification
4 Protective measures
StayToEnjoy may adopt technical and organisational measures to protect minors and to reduce risks to safety, privacy and well-being.
Technical protection measures
- age-related access restrictions for individual functions or content
- risk-based verification or additional testing in age-critical areas
- limited visibility or stricter standard settings for younger user profiles
- Identification, filtration or restriction of potentially harmful, explicit or age-appropriate content
- Protection mechanisms against unwanted contact, grooming, harassment or abuse
- Reporting, blocking and security functions within the platform
Organisational protective measures
- Internal trust and safety and moderation processes
- Examination of reported content and risky behaviour
- Further development of safety and youth protection concepts
- Adapting platform rules and product logic to new risks or regulatory requirements
5. Prohibited content & activities
Content and activities that may endanger, exploit, sexualise, manipulate or otherwise harm minors are strictly prohibited on StayToEnjoy.
- any form of sexual exploitation, sexualized representation or image of abuse of minors;
- Grooming, inappropriate contact or manipulative addressing of minors
- Violence, threats or content that may significantly endanger minors
- circumvention, manipulation or deception of ageing and protective mechanisms
- Advertisements, offers or incentives for age-restricted products or services to unauthorised users
- any form of exploitation of inexperience, vulnerability or visual impairment of minors;
Sixth contact for youth protection
For questions, information or communications on the protection of minors, StayToEnjoy provides a separate contact channel.
Tasks of this contact channel
- Acceptance and examination of information on content or behaviour relevant to the protection of young people
- Forwarding to competent internal audit or security teams
- Support for the further development of internal protection measures
- Contacts for users, parents, guardians and where necessary authorities
7 Guidance for parents and dependants
Parents and guardians play an important role in the secure use of digital platforms and social interactions by young people.
- Talk to children and adolescents about safe platform use, privacy, and online contact.
- Use age-appropriate device, app and account settings.
- Check what features, visibility and contact capabilities are active.
- Let us know immediately if you notice signs of false information about age, inappropriate contact, or harmful content.
- Please ensure that minors do not use mandatory adult functions if they are not authorised to do so.
Reporting of infringements
If you notice content, behaviour or features that violate our youth protection rules or could endanger minors, please report them immediately.
