Accessibility declaration
Accessibility
StayToEnjoy is committed to making its digital offerings accessible to as many people as possible. This declaration provides information on the current state of accessibility, existing restrictions and contact opportunities.
1 Declaration on freedom of access
This Declaration of Accessibility applies to the digital offerings of StayToEnjoy, in particular to the website staytoenjoy.com and the publicly accessible and user-related areas provided therein. Where native apps or other digital products are provided, additional or separate information may apply.
Scope of application
- Web site and web application of StayToEnjoy
- public information pages, support and legal areas
- Registration and account-related areas, where available
- Digital functions related to social, commercial, booking and business tools, where available
2. Conformity status
The digital offerings of StayToEnjoy are currently complying with the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the relevant requirements of EN 301 549partially consistent.
Partial compliance means that individual content, components or processes are not yet fully barrier-free or are currently being further improved.
Measures already considered
- Alternative texts for the images we have embedded
- Responsive display for different screen sizes
- Visible focus states on buttons and links
- continuous support for bright and dark design
- Accessibility rules are an integral part of our automated code checking
- Continuous improvement of contrast, readability and user guidance
3. non-barrier-free content
We automatically test our interface against the WCAG rules with real tests that render our pages and test for violations. However, this test does not yet cover the entire platform. What is tested and what is not, let's tell you openly:
Checked and unobstructed
- The public overview pages of all industries (hotels, restaurants, beauty, crafts and more) pass automated WCAG tests without complaint.
- The booking and dialogue windows and the navigation tables of the platform.
- Our commonly used controls (buttons, form fields, dialogues) bring keyboard control and focus view from home.
Not yet tested here we expect restrictions
- The sales and business areas (dashboards, management of offers) are not yet included in our automated tests, where individual controls are implemented as simple areas instead of buttons and therefore cannot be reliably accessed by keyboard.
- Chat, search and short videos (moments) are also not yet covered.
- Individual self-built dialogs in these areas do not yet hold the keyboard focus and cannot be closed with Escape in any case.
- Maps and dynamic filters are not yet fully accessible.
- Live videos do not currently have subtitles.
- PDF and export documents such as invoices have not yet been prepared for screen readers.
- User-generated images and media do not always contain alternative text or subtitles.
4. Our actions
StayToEnjoy considers accessibility as an ongoing component of design, development, quality assurance and product improvement.
Technical and organisational measures
- ongoing review and improvement of relevant user flows
- Consideration of accessibility for new components and functions
- Tests using keyboard navigation and supporting technologies, where practicable
- Improvement of semantic structure, focusing and readability
- Gradual reduction of known barriers in priority areas
Accessibility as an ongoing process
Accessibility is not a one-off condition, but a continuous improvement process, so priorities, measures and implementation conditions can be adjusted as the platform develops.
